I have seen Dr. Orendorff for a couple of years now. I am fully impressed with his willingness to spend time with the patients, listen to them and work with them on getting them well. His nurses, I have found were friendly and easy to work with. His office staff, I have not been so impressed with. For a general physician, I am completely satisfied.
I was with someone when Dr Orendorff had to give her some news about her child that she hadn't been prepared to hear and the absolute empathy, compassion and grace with which he handled the situation had me convinced that my severely disabled child should be in his care as well. I give him 4 stars rather than 5 because he was not so great with my own child, but I honestly think he was having an off day. He seemed tired or something...but that initial experience with him has me sticking with him anyways because that felt like who he truly must be as a person and as a doctor. We see a lot of doctors and that level of care is a rarity.
Hi, I'd like to let you know if you ever suffer a car accident, don't call here. The receptionist will be extremely condescending, tell you your problems aren't worth waiting on the insurance payout, and give you the idea that she should get drop-kicked by a bus. Since there's no fifth story to that building, I now want to build another four stories, put a window in it, and kick her out of it.
Staff wasn't very friendly or knowledgeable about their jobs, and I've been there 4 times with my child and only seen the actual Dr once.
