Its always awesome everytime the prices are perfect. The food is so good. Recommend it highly. I wish guy would come give it a try
Not one to shoot places down but I would say that this place did not live up to my expectations of a 4.6 rated place with over a hundred reviews. The meat was very bland, I couldn't taste any smoke at all. None of the food was bad, just not as good as I expected.
I love the feel of this place everything from its history to the handmade cutlery on display... and don't let me forget to mention the awesome barbecue. It's worth the drive
Delicious! A must stop! This was a great Sallisaw suggestion from a Sallisawian. THE BBQ sandwich reminds me of Hi-Ho BBQ in Hammond, LA. Would love to see the buns toasted on the sandwich.
I was traveling with my daughter and after reading all of the great reviews we decided to try it. We were not impressed. The tables were dirty. The floor had food ground into the carpet. The time was 330 on a Friday afternoon and we were the only customers in there. No reason why it shouldn't of been cleaned. The workers all seemed to be teenagers standing around talking expect for an older woman who was pulling trash. We both had the special which consisted of a pulled pork sandwich and beans. Our sandwiches were cold. The beans were excellent but I was honestly hesitant to eat after experiencing the lack of cleanliness in the restaurant. A change in management would be beneficial
