This school is a joke.
I went to school there an LOVED IT I'm going to send my kids there someday
I attended these schools and now my own daughter attends. They are so great with her! She has ADHD and they handle it very well. Their staff is absolutely amazing and are thorough with how they handle children, with or without learning disabilities. They bring a sense of purpose and position to the children, regardless of parental status. This is what our future generations are in great need of and Sallisaw public schools adds something better to the children's lives...and their future.
This school is truly amazing. Last year, my son attended school in MA. He averaged over 20 absences a year because he did not like school. He has not yet had an absence this year and it's almost over!
I wouldn't even send my dog to this school. I don't even know what to say other than the Sallisaw Public School system, not just Eastside, is the worst school system in the district. They treat everyone crudely and look down upon you like you know nothing. They say they want to help you with your disabled child or something of that sort, and then they kick them out simply because they "can't deal" with the child's disability (in my case, it was because my son has OCD.) I'm appalled, and shocked that a school system like this even exists.
